Today I had a fight with a player "Scorpion Desception".
Now, the reason why this fight started is because I was aggrevated by people leaving party all the time whenever I would go to Mineral Springs to cap skills.
So upon return to Granite Citadel I typed "Looking for people to go skill capping in mineral springs. Dont leave or be reported for misconduct"
Now all of a sudden this guy jumps on me saying that this is not misconduct!!
Now I know my english even though I was not born in america.

Leaving your party after PROMISING to stay for the whole skill cap mission for everyone is WRONGDOING. Or am I wrong?? Tell me why I'm wrong and I'll shut up.
Then this guy told me that sometimes there are emergencies. Like a loved one got hurt or somth. I told him the chance of that is 1 in a million. And most ppl dont leave 4 this reason. Also, if you are making a promice to stay in party you should make arrangements to stay in it. Or not join it! Simple. Join the party when you're sure you can stay in it. I believe that people do not respect other people's time. Which is why they dont realize that they are WRONGDOING others in the process. Eventually I got pissed and told the guy to shut up. Then he told me that he should report me for misconduct for saying everything I said, called me an 8 year old nerd noob who's brother bought him this game, and put me in ignore, after which he told me to get a LIFE.
Now, I have a life and this is why I value my time. Because i got other things to do but playing this game. I dont care about a frigging computer game. But what I do care is my TIME and other people's TIME. This time belongs to me and no one has the right to take it.
I admit, that mabe I got aggrevated too much and said the things I shouldnt have said,and I am SORRY, but my overall point is true and right. If u take yourself and other ppl seriously, make arrangements not to leave party or dont join it untlill you're pretty sure that you can stay.
I believe that Anet must implement a feature when anyone who leaves gets replaced by a henchie automatically and immediately. This would stop all these problems. Now tell me am I wrong or am I right? Please dont flame and be civilized about this.

leaving the party in the middle of the game ain't cool. some people just leave because they are bored w/ the team but most of the times it's a real emergency.

but whe you said the chances of emergencies happens 1 in a million is absurd. emergencies happen every second in this world,may it be minor or big. I used to work as a paramedic b4, in 5 minutes, we recieved 8 emergency calls in a single city. Old woman fell, kid cut his hand w/ a knife, wife got burned by hot oil when frying.

I also leave the party in the middle of the game when there is emergency. When I heard my baby nephew crying, should I ignore it coz I don't want my team members to get angry w/ me. hey, this is just a game and there are more things more important than this. we can always play this game anytime but emergencies should be attended immediately.

this is not flaming but just stating my opinion.

If you do a search under "vote kick" or something along those lines, you'll find a lot of threads devoted to this very worthy idea. It's something that a great number of us would love to see ANet implement. In the meantime, do a search and add your comments to an already existing thread.
